OUR 5 STEP SELLING PROCESS!

Choose an experienced agent. Here at Pine City Properties we make buying and selling a home a simple process

Choose a time to sell. Look at seasonal trends, holidays and market changes.

Prepare your home! Speak with one of our agents to find out the best way to make repairs, de-clutter and have it presentable. Consider a stylist to help you present your home at its best.

STEP 4

Choose the method of sale. There are three main methods of selling your home, through either an auction, a private treaty or sale by Expressions of Interest (EOI).

Public Auction. Designed to attract a wide range of potential buyers who bid competitively for your property. A reserve price is set which means your property will not sell unless bidding reaches a pre-agreed level. Auctions produce an unconditional contract for sale with a set settlement date.

Private Treaty. A private treaty is when an owner specifies a price they want for their property.  Our experienced agents will then negotiate with every interested party to get the best results for the property.  It is important to ask us for guidance when setting your asking price.  We are experts in the local area and understand the market trends, pricing values and comparable recent sales in the area.   Here at Pine City Properties, we will give you an understanding of your property’s value ensuring you set a realistic price.

Sale by Expressions of Interest (EOI). An EOI is when buyers are invited to submit an offer in writing to purchase your property by a specified time and date.  Buyers provide their best and final offer in writing.  Expressions of Interest provide you with the benefits of a private treaty sale, but with the urgency of an auction without the stress of an auction day.
